Without an ending there is no beginning

There is always a mix of relief and sadness when I reach the end of a story. Relief because I’ve managed to finish the first draft and sadness because the character’s story is written and aside from editing and polishing I won’t be spending any more time discovering them.

While I’m counting down until the October release of The Goblin King, and book 2 (Kiss of the Goblin Prince) is with my editor, I’m working on book 3 (For the Love of a Goblin Warrior). So while I was thinking of endings I realised that for my readers it’s the beginning.

You haven’t met Roan yet, or discovered the curse, the bleakness of the Shadowlands and the hope he finds with Eliza.

But I can share the rather delicious cover.

If you want to have a sneak peak at the opening it's here: http://casablancaauthors.blogspot.com/2011/01/critique-your-best-beginning.html
